MSN has reported that political activist and musician Gil Scott-Heron (age 62) has passed away. Gil lived in New York. Gil became famous in the late 1960s due to his popular poetry and spoken word performances. His publishing accomplishments include atleast 2 books and several albums. Scott-Heron’s best known song was “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised,”
